Martina Navratilova was an amazing athlete and incredible tennis player. She played her best tennis throughout the 1980s and 1990’s. She won 18 grand slam singles titles and 31 women’s doubles titles. She was ranked number 1 in the world for 322 impressive weeks. Navratilova was a pioneer of women's fitness and was always pushing the envelope with her workouts and athleticism. For these reasons and more Martina Navratilova is our Fitness Friday Athlete.
